THE WHITE ONE

THE WHITE ONE

A Poem by Joshua

THE WHITE ONE

My eyes

See not the room

Only a white faded you

Waiting,

Silently,

Like snow white owl

With eyes alight.

You are already here,

I’m just waiting your arrival.

Take me in your talons and devour me,

Tear my heart out and make it your flesh,

I’ll see through your eyes of gold

And will wait with you as we

Search

Through the dark pines

And sleeted snow.

Author's Note

Joshua
I cannot explain all of my poetry, I find they come out of me when I'm in a semi-relaxed state and letting my fingers and mind have a conversation. Mostly they start with a mental image (being an artist I'm very visually motivated) or some abstract feeling I may be tussling with.
