Where do poems come from?

Where do poems come from?

A Poem by Tatiana Havens

Every writer can write about a cold rainy day & how rain drops are ever so sound & peaceful rumbling down an ancient, cracked, bruised window.
Many writers can write about a summer romance well spent, sneaking around behind the old boat house. Those stories would never fail to make your heart strings resound.
Lots of writers can write about coffee that's gone stale and how a couple drips on their notepad could play with their senses and bring many stories to mind.

But a writer has yet to compose a piece of poetry that shows; no matter how different we all may be trying to be, we are all the exact same.

And a poet has yet to tell where all these love stories about the moon scribbled in a coffee stained notebook on an old rainy day really come from.

There is simply one reason for this;
we have yet to find out for ourselves.
