Cemetery girl

Cemetery girl

A Poem by terry smith

She tended to the flowers
on the graves
as if they were her garden
& found peace in the solitude
of its silence
life had become
a wall of white noise
built upon
pain...shame & regret
choking all of her colors
to grey
till one day
she found her color
in the form of
a crimson dress
& finally
that great white wall
was silent
