French kissing a .45 [ trying to coax the lead out ]

A Poem by terry smith

sometimes
i kiss the
cold steel
trying to
translate
russian into
comfort
for my
soul
while
spinning
the
wheel
counting
on red
but
betting
on blank

only
give it
one shot
a day
& today
wasn't
it
so i
empty
my glass
of
whiskey
& try
to get
some
sleep
