Achilles Heart
A Poem by
terry smith
I stand before you humbled at best my heart in disarray my love for you fully professed I give to you from open chest and in your trust I lay I stand before you humbled at best for with your love i am blessed in my heart you will always stay my love for you fully professed your true beauty needs caressed and never shall i betray I stand before you humbled at best and if I folly in my quest then I do not wish another day my love for you fully professed before God I have confessed if you do not love me i acquiesce I stand before you humbled at best my love for you fully professed

Its romantic

i don't really deal with form so much...and like andrew...not familiar enough to critique the form itself...but i do really like the smooth way this rolls off the tongue...

thanks...that is the key:)
It's both scary and spacious to be open. This is a intimate, hopeful and sweet invitation for love, Terry.
