The lady in front of me is paying in pennies

The lady in front of me is paying in pennies

A Poem by terry smith

...so I got a job as a ferry navigator
on the river Styx.....lost a coupe of souls
and got canned right away
now i'm in the unemployment line
....the unemployment line in hell
is almost as long as the one at the DMV.

-- wow... this is powerful... -- it reminds me of something i read in 'the onion' and it said that when the pope went to heaven, he was disappointed because heaven didn't have beautiful persian rugs like the papal palace... and even the walls and the furniture weren't that nice... -- maybe heaven and hell are on earth... and those of us who have to deal with unemployment (as i'm doing these days) find heaven in a job... when we find the job... (hopefully)...
