Who we are

Who we are

A Poem by terry smith

We all make mistakes
that's how we grow
it's what we take from them
that make us who we are.

Very wise words
if only we can keep that in perspective and forgive ourselves enough

I am mentally all thumbs...but I can hitch-hike anywhere :)
A poem of such wisdom, Terry, speaks with a knowing voice so many will relate to, that so many need to hear who yet cannot.
How marvelous it would be if all of our mistakes facilitated forward growth, and if all of that which we take from them made us better individuals … ah, but these inferences deplete the intended positive spirit glowing from your lovely verse.

I sincerely enjoyed this piece, Terry.
Thank you, My Fine Friend, for sharing an endearing bit of You! 〜 Richard
