The wind

The wind

A Poem by terry smith

I see the wind,
blowing through the trees,
and i think of you.
How the wind would blow your hair in my face,
and i didn't mind.
Because it was a part of you.
Or of how you would breath in my ear,
just before you told me you loved me,
when we were making love.
I wonder if you can feel the wind.
Is it blowing your hair now,
if you are breathing in someone else's ear.
Or if you are breathing at all.

-- ahhh... -- the piercing pain of being abandoned and isolated... after a phase of being treasured... is so unbearable... -- you expressed it very powerfully... my heart sank when i reached the end of the piece...

when we have loved and that loved has gone we still cling to those memories and have those questions... part of us wants to know that we are being missed too...well-penned, Terry
