Salute the Season of Fear

Salute the Season of Fear

A Poem by tastetheblood
"

Its a very morbid look at winter and the loonies that wait all year for this season .It's a little disturbing.

"

It's winter

The snow licks the ground

With a hungry mouth

We drink tea

From blood stained tea cups

The decapitated tea drinker

Lies on the floor near by

Its winter

The rain dribbles over a piece of flesh

Eyes dazed

We eat biscuits

Of saucers

Of gristle and bone

Its winter

We toast the season of death

Thick mud

Engulfs the tea drinker

We strip the fat from his bones

Its winter

We've lay in wait all year

Passion the chainsaws

Ready for the man hunt

Listen

For ripping sinew

It's winter

Leaves shiver

Wrap there nakedness

In coats of plucked

Human flesh

We salute

Absence of love

Open the cemetery gates

To death

It's winter

We make umbrellas

Of shin

Woven human hair

To walk the streets

Amongst the normals

Smell the human sweat in the air

It's winter

The snow licks the park bench

And the hobo's coat

With a hungry mouth

We drink tea

From blood stained tea cups

Welcome to the season of fear
