Dark Room

Dark Room

A Poem by Tasteless Heart

Trapped in this dark room

Searching the blackness

Reaching out blindly, desperate for truth

Waiting for something

Lying in silence

Begging for peace but panic ensues

Clinging to false hope

Trying to let go

Keep falling backwards, dazed and confused

Stuck in this dark room

Tired and weary

Lost in my thoughts and desperate for you.

Excellent atmosphere... psychologically speaking. GOOD sense of flow and meter without sounding forced.. Great work..
