The Pheonix

The Pheonix

A Poem by Tasteless Heart

The silence echoes through these halls
Of memories abandoned
The axe must break before it falls
To severe ties of reason

We face the truths we cannot face
Succumb to these emotions
And read the writing on the walls
To live the life we've chosen

These paths diverge into the dark
In fickle Fate's direction
To merge again or drift apart
From consequence of action

So in the future come what may
Though nothing is for certain
We'll watch this Phoenix rise again
And grow from all that's happened.

I agree with the above lines. We decide our journey and we must find some joy. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Both very interesting and unique, Curiosity! Reading this I felt certain emotions I think we can all feel sometimes even if it is unbearable. But we do find a way. Thank you for sharing, always! A+

Wow, much appreciated, your words are a great encouragement.
For some reason
Somethings don't ever die
And one wonders how the other side manages to keep their cool
