Too early to tell

Too early to tell

A Poem by Tasteless Heart

Look behind the window

Nothing there to see

I have lost my patience

It’s run away from me

Suffering in silence

Trying to make things right

Making my own casket

I have lost this fight

I look into your eyes

They are dead to me

Walls surround you now

I can't break them free

All this hurt and anguish

I’m sure you feel it too

The rage that lurks beneath it

Wants me to hate you

Lies and false perceptions

Things you kept away

Exploded through the surface

And led our love astray

Is there hope remaining

I guess that’s left to see

Will you breach the surface

Embrace your love for me?
