Never ending silence in the solitude of exile
Never ending terrors in the chaos of my mind
Failing retribution as I walk the final mile
Weakened constitution struggling in the sands of time

Rambling confessions of a desperate believer
Emotions overwhelming as they crush all that I've known.
Reaching for a reason, finding why I shouldn't leave her
Reading into nothings as I rationalize hope

Nothing seems so certain as the promises unknown
Feeble heart is broken but is trying to feel whole
Time is slipping slowly as the love starts to erode
Mind is over matter but its darkness taints my soul.
