Definitely, maybeA Poem by LifeInPoetry
Definitely maybe is what I am,
a contradiction in my hands. A life in question, a life unplanned, a life i'll never understand. I crave the city yet love the sea, a broken love affair for me to choose between. But how the woodland caught my desire, like loving the water yet choosing the fire. I wish to venture, to run and to escape, its like the choices I make freely are not mine to truly make. I am happy with each breath but still so painfully sad overall, i have worlds of words within my mind and yet i still feel small. I feel the forest welcome me, the trees do bring me home, and yet I shan't feel I belong wherever I am to roam. A perfect contradiction lies within these bones. Definitely maybe, a paradox still unknown.
