Rivers and roadsA Poem by LifeInPoetryCraving someone far away.Separate worlds in endless wonder. They say absence makes he hear grow fonder, But how am I sure you haven't changed your mind, A harsh and cruel reminder that distance holds the hands of time. You see the sun, whilst I watch the moon, Always a million moments from you. The phrase I miss you is only so true, For parts of me lie deep in you. My words are flowers in your veins, To be so close were damned insane. I could be beside you, inside you, around. I'd always find a way to crave you somehow. Though our hearts may fall to wander, I know this to be true. I would cross all rivers and roads to bring myself to you. © 2014 LifeInPoetryAuthor's Note
