A mothers loveA Poem by LifeInPoetryI wrote this as a gesture of my appreciation for my mother.
I wake up to Dawn, to the feeling of home.
I wake up to her and i'm never alone. I wake up to family in my blood and my bones. I wake up to Dawn and to all I've been shown. I wake up to her through all of the years. I wake up to happiness through the comfort of tears. I wake up to a place of no dangers or fears. I wake up to a vision when all else now clears. I wake up to a mothers love and all and in between, I wake up to a simpler time from infancy to teen, I wake up to a mothers love in all that she has seen, I wake up to a grateful life in which not all have been.
