Nothing Here

Nothing Here

A Poem by T. Smeltz
"

A poem about this world

"
There is nothing here. It's empty. The lights are bright but they fade like virtual particles if u get close enough. The mass is failing. It has no sustenance. It'll break u here if u let it. It'll leave u craving.  It is dust in your mouth and wind, only wind on your skin.  And the pleasure, ah the pleasure, only brings pain. If that's what you're into you'll be fine. But you're not meant for it so you will die. The scales are weighing. The thrusters are firing. Which way will you fly? The spectacle is only that, something fun to look at. But it will be enough to pull you under and trample you over. Don't come here. There is nothing here.

A amazing poem. I like the purpose of this poem. A simple warning to stay away. Sometime we are tempted and no fear lead us into bad places and situations. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
