Many times it has been said

That we know our destiny

Before our wings are shed,

The destiny of two loved ones that I have witnessed

Is a learning experience to all

Who wish to listen,

Two beings were gently placed upon the earth

And suddenly became dismay

Until their guardian angels

Began to pave the way,

Once they met

The love, the passion

They could not tame

Soon they were to become

"One in the same,"

Their future

So beautiful, poetic and passionate

So it seemed

Until the evils of mankind

Took away their dream,

A departure that we prayed would not be real

Left a loved one

With all the pain to feel,

Depression came along with an endless sea of tears

Until communication from the Heavens

Miraculously appeared,

A growing process began

Due to confirmation of a loved one

Spreading wings again,

The love that was shared here upon earth

Ascended to the Heavens and

Created a new birth,

An awakening

Of what love truly is

A unity

That shall always live.

yes, love is eternal. I suppose some may think I have strange beliefs but I think that hearts are entwined and they do find each other again.......I have experienced this. Maybe I am not interpreting this correctly but poetry is personal to the reader and the poet. Love this

A great write which seems to give off a Adam and Eve religious quality to it, but also can be said about any love in genera. Beautifully written. Nicely done.
