EmotionlessA Poem by Tarry Franck
My soul has escaped
And I suppose, traveling Through another dimension For I have no loving feelings No desire, no hope I walk around, empty inside I look in the mirror And don't recognize The image looking back at me How far away did it go ~ To hide ~ The physical, a dead weight A shell of helplessness That's just buying time At any moment I will tear open its flesh To feel the rawness Of what might be left ~ Satisfaction I will not find Until I'm lying bloodless And embracing the deadly ~ Emotionless side ~ © 2012 Tarry FranckAuthor's Note
