Set Free

My heart, my mind, my soul

Has been torn

And I've hurt somebody

Along the way

How do I make it right

With this love I feel

What do I say,

He has built a wall

That I can't tear down

Because of the hurt

I put him through

I don't want him to fall,

I'm the only one to blame

And I accept that

And I feel nothing but shame,

Come back to me

Is all I want

I want to set this hurt free.

I don't know. Love is like dancing on a dangerous edge. Need two people in the same place and needing the same thing. I look back at the past and lost and won in love. I wouldn't trade one moment away. Love isn't easy. Real friend forgive and stay friends. Better to had danced than wished you did. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
