Set Me Free

Set Me Free

A Poem by Tarry Franck

You're in my life
And mean the world to me
But at times like this
You must set me free,
Until I figure out
Where I belong
Why these feelings rage war
You must leave me alone,
I can't talk on the phone
Privacy is much needed
No matter how much I want you
These words you must heed,
I beg of you for patience
And let what's done be done
For I'm all alone with thoughts I don't like
But must suffer through
The mystery of my life,
I thank you enough for your kindness
Please don't worry
I can only deal with so much
So please respect my plea.

A honest and direct poem.
"I thank you enough for your kindness

All people need time and room before making big decisions. Thank you dear Poet for sharing your excellent poetry.

I could feel the pain in this...sometimes we just want to be alone to think and people don't seem to respect our pleas...well written...

Thank you Valerie
There are times in our lives that we just wanna be alone, but people get worried and they call and ask. Sometimes we just need a moment to rebalance ourselves, and all those calls just irritate us further.
