Closing Every DoorA Poem by Tarry FranckWrapped around my mind Are these thoughts I can not control And they are honing in on my time, Writing is the only therapy As of now And that's not even working I can't break free, I'm bound by mental chains That won't leave me alone So in bondage I remain, Happiness no longer lives Inside of me For whatever reason These thoughts won't give, I'm scared and just want to run Even though I know they follow I'm doing what can only be done, Go to the shore Watch the ebb and flow And hope happiness will return Or I will end up closing Every door.
