One More Chance

One More Chance

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I fell on my knees
This morning
To ask for forgiveness
And nothing did I receive,
In wonder my face pale
What have I done
To deserve this hell,
I beg of thee
Give me another chance
To prove myself
And improvements you will truly see,
Just one more time
To show this is not me
I didn't cast the first stone
You will find,
I think you will know
That I'm innocent
In this work
And find that I don't deserve to be damned
Give me one more chance
And I will shine
And bare my soul.

No they don't. Thanks for reviewing Michael
A powerful poem. When we request a new chance and seek peace and forgiveness. We have tried to find peace. Sometime we fall down to the bottom to be able to see the light of chance and possibility. I hope you are doing good my Poet friend. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
