On Bended Knee

On Bended Knee

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I climb a mountain
The highest mountain
To reach the top
To reach to the heights of my soul
So I can experience the tranquility
To feel whole,
I want to feel free
Free of life's turmoil
My life's insanity,
An insanity that includes Bi-polar
The suicidal and cutting tendency
That rule my life
It seems,
I beg for a normal life
To set me free
To let my spirit go
On bended knee.

Thank you for reviewing Coyote.
We are all struggling against the weight of life. It seems oppressive sometimes but in truth we are more free then we believe. Great poem Tarry that makes you think.

Thank you Eddie
Terry,

You said:
I beg for a normal life
To set me free
To let my spirit go
On bended knee.

What If someone told you that you are believing a lie?
What if the truth is that you are already free?
What if someone told you that your Spirit was not in-bondage to anything except your belief that you are?

What if someone told you that insanity, the self hatred and cutting all come from the lows after coming down from the TOO high's All because it's only natural to fail if you are running too fast on the highs?

What if someone told you that there is no such thing as mental illness and all those labels and catogories.
What if someone told you that there in no mental illness only wrong thoughts that form patterns.

What if you can coincide perhaps your hormonal cycle with negative wrong thoughts and behaviors and you are labeled for nothing.
What if someone told you to just stop and slow down. Just be still. What if you never learned self control and wasn't told it was manageable?

What if just before you wanted to start cutting and someone handed you 5 million dollars. Would you stop?
Of coarse you would and why? Because your thoughts changed for a positive. If this can be done then what does that say?

What if you learned that all those I ain't this I ain't that and all the I'm not's in your head were understood as lies and you changed them to I am's?
What if you understood these things and started looking at them and started taking back control of yourself instead of giving in to the lies and deny those thoughts. what if you learned to look them in the face and hold up a mirror of truth and send those thoughts back to where they came?
What if you stood up empowered by truth and the fact that God made you whole and perfect and perfect included flaws just like anyone and everyone else.

What if you don't and let those neg, thoughts take your life for you slowly day by day and steal from you your joy and right of every living thing?

What if you have never had someone who understood creative people as yourself and understood that they have a different way of living and are not able to fit the rat maze that the elite of the matrix has set for them to be ensnared in? What if you found out that you are the normal one and everyone who can be content in the rat maze is insane?

You say:I climb a mountain
The highest mountain
To reach the top
To reach to the heights of my soul
So I can experience the tranquility
To feel whole,

I say: Then expect to fall over and over again, cause no one can continue to climb mountain after mountain without falling. That is a set up for failure for anyone. Unless you can accept failure as a stepping stone for success then don't climb.Take control and learn to be aware that your climbing too high and running too fast.
Discipline your self. LEARN it takes awareness and time to see it to fix it.

How sad so many wonderful people believe a lie to be damned. We were made higher then the angels believe it, claim it. Next time those thoughts come. Claim This:' That this is Battled Blood Stained Ground " The Battle was already won and you are FREE.
You Are Free,You Are Free,You Are Free,You Are Free,You Are Free
You are I AM......... and not......... I am not

This was a brave write. I don't think anyone knows what it's like to be bi-polar unless they are. I have been told I am but I don't know if I am or not.

"I climb a mountain the highest mountain to reach the top"
This was inspirational.

Ouch! I read this only to feel sorrow! I hope this was inspiration and not description! Poetry can heal!

It was description - just something I have to deal with
I know how hard it must be to live with bipolar ... my ex was diagnosed with bipolar and I couldn't deal with his constant moods ... great work Tarry!
