On Bended KneeA Poem by Tarry FranckI climb a mountain The highest mountain To reach the top To reach to the heights of my soul So I can experience the tranquility To feel whole, I want to feel free Free of life's turmoil My life's insanity, An insanity that includes Bi-polar The suicidal and cutting tendency That rule my life It seems, I beg for a normal life To set me free To let my spirit go On bended knee.
