Healing Life Of Confrontation

Healing Life Of Confrontation

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I drive by the house
And find she finally isn't there
Do I keep driving on
Or do I stop and stay
Keeping my hopes that she will never return
To find my life is finally safe,
Safe from the depths of confrontation
A confrontation I wish not to have
For hopes of peace of mind
That I can truly grasp,
All I've ever wanted was peace
And received nothing in return
When all I wanted was for it to cease,
Shackled down, I no longer feel
Thanks to the graces
I can continue my life
Which is now my truth
And I can begin to heal.

The complete poem open the door to many things to ponder upon. The above lines made me desire to know more. It is a wide open poem. Allowing the reader to tried to grasp the fear and desire to heal. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Not too many of us like confrotation. To find that "the coast is clear" can be a great feeling if, like your well penned poem states, it lasts like that. Very nice Tarry.
