Forever In Our Hearts

Forever In Our Hearts

A Poem by Tarry Franck

It's been a year since you've passed
And it only seems like yesterday
That you had,
We miss you so much
Even though we know you are no longer suffering
And in a better place
We still miss your embrace,
You are truly loved
And missed by us all
What we ever did without you
We thought we would never know
And still have moments like that
Because you are missed so much
And we still question
Why did you have to go,
You were being called
It was your time
And we were not ready
For you to be gone for awhile,
We will see you again some day
But until then we want you to know
Our love for you
Forever within our hearts
Will stay.

When I was a youngster, I wrote a poem to my grandmother after she died. The thing about this poetry motive is that not only do you honor your loved one, but the process of writing it is healing. Thus, when you share it, it's inspirational healing power is passed on to others that might be feeling, while reading, the same sorrow you had at the time you wrote this piece. Great job!

Keeping loved ones alive. You said it all here. Our loved ones who have passed I know we will be with again until then they are serving in the spirit world.

The first year is the most difficult...the first Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday, etc. Your words are warm and loving. May memories comfort you throughout your life. A gorgeous tribute. Lydi**
