Dragon HeartA Poem by Tarry FranckA dragon living beyond her needs She flies above the trees Searching for what she greeds An enormous of meat, So she can hibernate for the winter And return to the months of the heat A strange creature she is Because normally they would Hunt all year around No matter what the temperature 'tis, There's something elusive about this one And I intend to find out No matter how long It takes to get it done, I get the tranquilizer gun It takes a while but I pull through I walk into it's den And realize she's been feeding twins For their safety she hunts one big meal So they will be able to ride the winter out By their mothers side And they will feel the warmth from The depth of her heart.
