Goodness BeyondA Poem by Tarry FranckIn harms way I fear I am These thoughts rearing through my mind That I need to keep at bay, Not knowing which door to pull I push instead and get caught In these evil ways And end up looking the fool, A moment it cherishes upon But through the murky water I swim quietly Hoping for the dawn, I end up beside the pond Where no evil will cross And we can live quietly Where only goodness lives beyond.
