Lord Keep MeA Poem by Tarry FranckYou devour everything in your path With your frightened teeth Lord keep me away From the heat, You pounce on your prey On the dark paths Through the dark woods Lord keep me in the light of day, You are at the edge of my footsteps I know I can feel your breath And I must move faster, I must go, I know you lurk in darkness Afraid of the light And I see a path before me A path ever so bright, A path that you can't follow For you are a dark soul Hopefully for me You soon will die of growing old.
