For a love I can not have

Wait for me you ask,

True love does not exist

Exist like this,

Put my life on hold

As you frolic about

That's not how my heart works

Nor my soul without a doubt,

I must find the strength to do

And never allow another within

Another lover like you,

One day I will find that person

That can feel the love I have to give

And appreciate it all too well

only a total fool would wait...put their existence on hold...for someone who is plainly with another fool. i have known a few of these fools actually, myself included....it is self destructive and generates only pain. well penned.
