Pronounced DeadA Poem by Tarry FranckThe sick, the ill Come to the hospital In hopes of being healed, Some walk out With joy in their step Others may not Because they are still in need of help, Some may not walk out alive Some families Walk out feeling dread Because their loved one is exiting With a toe tag Stating dead, I'm not making light of the situation Because it happened in my life All too quickly My Dad left Pronounced dead When he walked in alive.
