Damsel In DistressA Poem by Tarry FranckShe grew her wings In the desert Brittle they became And within that Grew such shame, Her frail body walked No help in sight For minutes, hours, days But she had to keep her strength Her might, On bended knee We all gathered and prayed And this vibrant body Gained a gust of wind And we find her wings are strong And flying again, She fluttered by to give thanks to Each and every one of us But all we did is like any others would Give strength to a guardian angel in distress.
