Bonded Lovers

Bonded Lovers

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Your laughter is music to my ears
Your smile brightens my eyes
Your touch sends shivers
Down my spine,
You and I have such a bond
That goes back many years
If that bond was broken
I would cry thousands of tears,
My heart, your heart
My soul, your soul
As we share so much
Our spirits soar,
To the highest of loves peek
We gaze above
To the moon and the stars
To see our love,
Our love embracing
To see our love
Our love dancing,
Below the moonlit sky
We see our love
Our love running awry,
But with my heart with your soul
And your soul with my heart
A love like this
I can only pray will never depart.

A beautiful and hopeful poem of love. When two people bound two lives. It is a miracle of love. I like the kind and gentle description. I like the closing line. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

hopefulness and desire are a bitter pill, but a loving embrace when in the proper context. this made me both joyful and sad. joyful for a lasting, tender love and sad for the prospect of ever losing it forever. nicely penned, Tarry.
