My HuckleberryA Poem by Tarry FranckDeep in the night A conversation was held Giving clues from one another As if we were searching for gold And maybe so, a treasure That no other would know, Sharing traits that were in common Enjoying all the innuendos That were given and taken He set my heart afire, just blazing, This man of words You know who you are, my Huckleberry You mesmerized me You held my wings Then set them free Didn't know where the sky would turn But it came to an end However I believe this kindred soul Will be a part of my life Again and again.
