Wicked Love

Wicked Love

A Poem by Tarry Franck

You loved me at my weakest
You loved me at my strongest
I need to know do you
Love me any longer,
I worship the ground you walk on
Every breath you take
All the kisses and hugs
Yet I feel our love is gone,
Due to the doubts
That run through my mind
I can't help but wonder
If we are going at this
With just me all in
Are you in or out,
Sometimes I don't hear from you
And I get insecure...
Whenever I do
I feel like you're holding me through,
My mind is just twisted
Playing tricks on me
Are you feeling the same
Is this some kind of game
Or are we just pawns
In a type of wicked love
Do you feel the same?

The question of love leave us wanting to know what is true or not? I like the way you led me into question and wonder. I like the question at the end of the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

Exactly what I feel right now. I love how this sounds lyrical when I read it.

Thank you so very much
I guess we all do feel powerless when love is so important to us and so uncontrollable like its a game that is working against us and you have described this so well, your ending question highlights your insecurity perfectly.

This is wonderful. The questioning, uncertainty and complexity is exactly what makes it so real.

I can relate completely, how tiring it is to wake every morning and expect no sweet words, like we used to.. To have no idea if they still see you as that light they fell in love with. Why the heart is in pain think rationally. Sometimes you just have to be strong and show them how great you are. Good work, this is stunning

Dump that creep and move on with your life...you deserve it, wicked love is only fun for so long, then it gets old and gives you wrinkles, you don't want wrinkles do ya?!! Nice one Tarry....

Thank Frieda...I think LOL ;)
are there are lingering doubts in your heart that is a fairly accurate indication that something is wrong. we own these instincts for a reason. i love the way you worded this piece. it resonates with my own experiences. well done.

Love is not wicked... Yet some forms of human expressions we call love can be wicked indeed. The most wicked is the unknown. The ambivalence to reasure that what we feel is real and shared. This poem felt like a true question of a heart being neglected like a flower left in the shadows with the water drying into the air from her roots.
Wonderful read for me.
