Innocent or SinfulA Poem by Tarry FranckYou walked across my path And though I didn't notice you I could smell your essence Such an amorous scent How could I just let you pass, I set out on the concrete jungle To follow you For you could be the one I just knew, I approach with such grace We exchange a few words Numbers and embrace, In the concrete jungle You never know who you may meet Just an innocent stranger That may be the man of your dreams Who knows A dinner A good conversation May be just what the doctor ordered Does this deem me as a sinner, With this date I am pleased But I know deep within Where my heart honestly leads, It was a pleasure To converse with another But have I committed a sin Against my love?
