Sweet Surrender

Sweet Surrender

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Haven't heard from you
In so many days
I'm beginning to wonder
If I was just a phase,
Maybe you were not
Getting the attention
You needed
Maybe you felt
The need for greed,
One was not enough
So you reached out
For another,
You knew I would fall
Drop everything
At your beck and call,
And the sad thing is
That I love you so
I would do it all over again
Anything to see you face to face
To feel your embrace
And to leave you with my trace.

Thank you so much and I love you too
Like romancing the devil...just the other side of pain. Good one.
