One With Nature

One With Nature

A Poem by Tarry Franck

The scent of the moist air
Approaches the night
So I, the courageous person that I am
Shed my clothes
And upon the earth
Rest my head,
With a soft touch
The air caressed my every curve
With a gentle kiss
The rain caressed my wholesome lips
And calmed my very nerve,
One with nature
Now I feel I am
Off in the distance I watched
My soul as it ran.

A beautiful poem. Good to fall into Nature and blend in with her. I like the desire and the purpose of the outstanding poetry.

Thank you for you kind words
Love the ending it could represent so many different things, like death or a return to being an animal or being consumed by natures power

Now that Earth Day is fast approaching with only a little more than a month, this poem will be the voice of environmentalists and ecologist. I'm a biologist so I'm glad that you put it into words. Thanks for sharing!
