Joyous King

Joyous King

A Poem by Tarry Franck

In dream twilight
I long for the love
Of my Joyous King
I can feel the warmth
Of your breath
Upon my neck,
When we sleep side by side
And when you turn to caress
I feel your warm naked body
Against mine
There's a joy that
Fills me inside
The alarm goes off at dawn
You're getting dressed for the day
I glance at you
As if a breath of fresh air swept through,
Like sunbeam came along
Before the morning coffee
You apply that alluring cologne,
It permeates the air
And the desires within
Passionately gives in
I didn't want that moment to end,
Your lunch packed and ready to go
And it's too hard to say by
Even though I know you're coming home
The same time
You come home every night,
With a home cooked meal
And a clean house
And our dogs excited for you to see
Their new tricks mama taught them
I want that life again
And with you only
I can only pray
When all is said and done
You will feel the same
From Queen to King
That's what I want
Oh so desperately.

WOW, YOU EXPRESSED the true love and desire for him well in this poem..
but the sad thing is that every sweet moment always comes to an end!!
its so annoying mainly those morning breaks... when you were still feeling the warmth permeate from him! when he leaves you feel like a naked person..
real good write

An almost Biblical tone... Like king Solomon wrote...
I like the feel of this request for connection.

Thank you
you took me to a place i have dreamed of for years, one that is long gone and never to return. how very vividly you painted the portrait of a happy life with someone who means the whole world to you and all your surroundings, including the family pets.....that is inclusive without being ridiculous....very well written !

Delightfully tragic read. Filled with such anticipation in the beginning, begging for that wondrous life to be repeated at the end...it takes me on a roller coaster ride. Very personal message in this, one I think many of us can relate to....charming pic by the way! ;-)
