Lovers And FriendsA Poem by Tarry FranckI tripped in love with you When we met at a bar You came to buy me a drink There was an immediate attraction Without a doubt My hand you took And how wonderful it was I felt the connection True love finally I understood, A whirlwind of love and joy We spun through You showed me so many things And what true love was all about I never would have guessed With our love, our passion There would ever be a doubt, I never thought after all these years Heart to heart All the love we shared We would ever be apart, Now that we are My love for you has Grown stronger and stronger I think we both realize now Our rights and our wrongs And we can come together Once again And be not only lovers But the best of friends.
