Tick-TockA Poem by Tarry FranckTick-Tock Tick-Tock Says the clock As time races on The children enjoy The daily sun Until dreamland Calls them beyond... A gentle kiss A soft hug From Mom and Dad And dream time is about to begin In the meantime The guardian Angels Spread their wings And from Heaven They descend... They fluff the pillows And warm the sheets To prepare the children For a good night sleep... The children began To climb in bed Until Mom and Dad Remind them "The Lord's prayer Must be said"... Mom and Dad begin to pray And the children follow along And at the end of the prayer The children say, "God bless our family and our home"... Warmth within the covers The children find And the lights go out To begin their dream time... The angels hover above And wait patiently As they lull the children in With a soothing melody And escort them Through their dream time fantasy... The children wake With the morning sun Refreshed and full of energy With happy dream time stories To share with the whole family. © 2013 Tarry FranckFeatured Review
