Mother NatureA Poem by Tarry FranckDeep in the valley When thunder roars It stirs my spirit In so many ways I dance in the rain It cleanses me A purification of all my shame, Mother Nature Lending a helping hand And grateful of her abilities I most certainly am, I bask in the elements While others hide I prefer riding the thoroughbred outdoors Than staying near the warm hearth They can't keep my spirit From taking flight, I'm ready to implode My emotions run about They seem to want to explode, Such a lucid landscape The allure of it is overwhelming Breath taking if you will An artistic view And yet my spirit still brewing, Walking down the path thinking This I would love to own This great divine A place to call home, A place where my spirit can soar No matter how long Before I'm too old And no longer be able to embrace The land and the shore.
