Blind Beauty

Blind Beauty

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Hey there my lady
Where have you been all my life
Hiding that voluptuous body
Those beautiful green eyes
Yet you were before me
All this time,
How could I have overlooked
What was right in front
The beauty you hold
I see such comfort,
I must have been
Dancing in the darkness
As you were shining
In such illuminating light,
Why didn't I ever see you
Through those darkened nights
Or notice when
You lit the morning dew,
I've waited many moons
To find someone
And here before me you stand
Now I feel, "Oh, so blessed"
Since you have taken my hand.

I like the poem. The good description lead the reader on a good journey to know real beauty and fall into a blessed love. Life is odd. The good people in life can be near and we are blind to their love and kindness. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I so agree - Glad you enjoyed the advice
Voluptuous with green eyes sounds like a good combination to me, it is so easy to overlook what we have got and take it for granted. This poem has corrected that.

Thank you very much
We do live "blind" so often.
I wnjoyed the expression.
I had issue with a few lines...
"Are notice when" Our notice maybe...
Also, the line "Now I feel oh so blessed" Needs something.... Like, Now I feel, "Oh, so blessed" Maybe that is bad advice... something felt off to me there.
Overall liked this though.

Thank you - glad you enjoyed!
Utterly romantic. So often we can't see what's right in front of our faces. Sometimes we get lucky and our eyes are opened. Nicely pen'd.
