Euphoria

Euphoria

A Poem by Tarry Franck

The flame flickers
Beneath the moon
With hands as quick as light
The stars shake
Illuminating my soul so bright,
Euphoria spreads through
And all I can think about
Is how I wish
I could share this with you,
We could embrace this moment
Make it our own
Instead of me here
Standing all alone,
But I will do
As you suggested...
Take advantage of this rare beauty
Because within my heart
Your love is truly here with me.

the mind can bring so much pleasure, especially when one connects it to the heart and releases all borders to accept that very intimate concept. what a wonderful revelation this write is, to know that you are so capable of love unabridged and romantic quest, while deep in your heart there is a lingering wound. beautiful, simply beautiful....i do get you.

I like the word "Euphoria". The description was strong. Leading the reader on a journey into wish and desire. I like the flow of the thoughts and the very good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

Thank you very much Coyote :)
I like how this is written with passion and honesty enveloping the character's lonely state. I hope that person will finally have someone by his/her side. Beautifully-crafted work!
