Beauty AboveA Poem by Tarry FranckLike a breath of fresh air A cool winter breeze I spread my wings And set my soul at ease, There's a gentleness About this flight That has allowed me To open my eyes widely, I can see now What has been hidden For so long And realize all I had to do To overcome what I thought was forbidden, Was clean the dust off these wings Take flight And view all the beauty in the world I've been missing, A blessing it truly is Will do it more and more often If the heavens allow me to do so.
