The Reason

The Reason

A Poem by Tarry Franck

You're the reason
I wait by the phone
Just to hear your voice
That majestic tone,

You're the reason
I can't close my eyes some nights
The thoughts of you
Your love, your laughter
Keep spiraling in my mind,

You're the reason
I wake at dawn
With such a smile
It's just something that you spawn,

You're the reason
For my life
My inspiration
My spirit of light.

It is such a gift to know your reason for being here. I think that often as we get older and hurt we forget that it is not a bad thing to give yourself completely to anouther. That is what this sounds like or at least the beginning of unconditional love...

Love has a way of awakening the soul and giving one purpose...this poem is a nice tribute to this notion. I wish you the best in love and hope that it is always returned.

Thank you dear friend
A beautiful and positive poem. We need our special people to make us want to be alive and strong. I like the strong ending to the excellent poetry.
