Unforgotten Love

I travel the road
To meet a love
Face to face
That has never grown cold,
I quiver within
Can't wait to wrap
My arms around him,
I go with good intentions
And will make the best of it
Because he is
Well worth the effort,
Don't know how soon I will see him again
But for now
Letters and phone calls
I do not mind
I will wait for him
During and after his time.
