Priceless Evening

Priceless Evening

A Poem by Tarry Franck

On a cold winter night
The flames that are near
Burn warm by my side,
The embers that glow
Along with the amber moon
And the gentle breeze
That moves through my hair
Makes for a perfect evening
Amid all the despair,
The autumn feel
Stirs my soul
And surfacing memories
Of new and old,
Recapturing them all
A priceless feeling
Which leaves me standing tall
And on the ground kneeling.

Very nice, Tarry. I thought the "Burn warm" was redundant (because it is) but the past and rhythem of the writing is very good. I enjoyed this read.
