HallucinationsA Poem by Tarry FranckI live in darkness By choice, I wish But these hallucinations Are taking control I can't get a grip, You don't want to know The things I see They haunt my mind And twist my dreams Leaving me nowhere to go Except internally, There's no other escape And I reach for something Others may not understand I reach for a blade Take it in my hand, To release the flesh Due to the grieving inside In hopes of letting the blood flow And cleansing me Then maybe these hallucinations Will let me go.
