Far Away

My darling if I seem too far away

It's not that I want to be

It's just because I can't handle

The mania, depression, the rage,

Don't want to expose you

To my world of craziness

That fills my mind

Just need a chance to repose

Until the real me, I can find,

And if you feel it's lasting too long

Reach out to me

And I'll try better to be strong,

For it can last awhile

And I don't like what I see

Because in the mirror

I see an illusion

That's not really me,

I'll do my best to return the love

That you have shown me

Try to regain my composure

And attempt to rise above.

Hard when we lose control. We desire not to hurt the people around us. I like the honest feel of thoughts and emotion in the poem. The ending was very good. Trying to find a place where we have control over thoughts and anger. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
